"Of Exceptions and Miracles" is a project comissioned by Jumex Museum for the exhibition Actions at a Distance. This piece presents oil paintings of micro-stories told by the inhabitants of the Granada neighborhood, where the Museum Jumex is located. The paintings were exchanged for extraordinary stories or miracles told by the museum neighbors who have resisted the gentrification process in the area. The action was accompanied by a local hip hop band, Afromega + Ese o*, who performed these stories on the museum's square. The stories were told by Antonio, Cecilia, Francisco, Gabriel, Jazmin, Jose Antonio, Juana, Magdalena, Manuel, Martin, Miroslava and Trini.
